When the AI bubble bursts

Sooner or later the current AI bubble is going to burst. What's going to happen when it does?

AI is everywhere. It's integrated into every product. It's the hammer with which every problem in the world can be thumped. And it's a terrible fit for almost every job it's been given.

AI is used to summarise meetings - it invents people who weren't there and topics that weren't discussed.

AI is used to generate videos - it hideously dismembers people because it doesn't know how human bodies work.

AI rapidly generates website code - it rapidly generates a security nightmare.

AI answers search engine queries - it suggests using a search engine instead.

Sooner or later the current AI bubble is going to burst (some people will argue with me about that but this is not that article). The question I'm interested in is : what's going to happen when it bursts?
